Summer is almost over, so what does that mean? It is time for back to school shopping! Right now times are tough and we are always looking to save a little bit of money here and there. School supplies are getting pricer every year and kids need more than ever. Sadly, many parents cannot afford the supplies and it falls to the teacher. This is not fair since they are already under paid and the stress dealing with our young.
For the next couple of months I will be posting deals on Facebook and twitter for back to school supplies. Also, you can view the deals ahead of my posts on grocerysmarts.com.
If you missed the last post on Facebook, I got 22 Five Star file folders for free. How I did this? The folders are on sale for 50¢ each. On Target.com there is a printable STORE coupon for $1 off when you buy 2 folders. Then online and Smart Source insert, there is a manufacturer coupon for $1 off any two folders. you are allowed to stack the two coupons together along with the sale at Target. So if you buy 2 folders, it totals $1. By stacking the coupons, it will make the folders free.
Just remember at Target you're only allowed 4 like coupons per transaction. So you need to do many transactions to get many folders. Also you are allowed to print 2 same coupons per computer. So this is a good time use all your computers and to call your friends.
In the spirit of paying it forward, I donated all the folders to my son school. They were delighted to receive a donations because they needed them as well.
